Chef Fumio Suzuki

He is the visionary chef behind the Zuicho brand—now proudly operating in Tokyo, Macau, Hong Kong and Singapore, both the Hong Kong and Macau restaurants have been awarded Michelin stars.

Head Chef Fumio Suzuki is a classically trained culinary master whose philosophy is rooted in precision, seasonality, and the relentless pursuit of purity in flavor. Born and raised in Tokyo—the epicenter of Japanese gastronomy—he developed an early and profound respect for how cuisine connects people and enriches everyday life.

Over the past two decades, Chef Suzuki has refined his craft at some of Japan’s most esteemed establishments, including multiple Michelin-awarded restaurants in Tokyo. He later brought his talents overseas, leading Zuicho Hong Kong to its first Michelin one-star rating in 2021, a distinction the restaurant has proudly maintained for five consecutive years.

Today, Chef Suzuki welcomes guests at Zuicho Singapore, where he continues to embody the true spirit of Japanese fine dining: intimate, refined, and deeply personal.
